More new Team Fortress 2 and Steam patches released

Valve continues to refine and patch up Team Fortress 2 after the release of the big Scout update last month. They have already released one patch this week and late on Friday another small patch was released via Steam. In addition to changing some of the jumping and ducking parameters, the patch adds support for server operators to "remove all constraints on ducking while in the air." That means more fun in rocket jump servers.

In addition to the new Team Fortress 2 patch, Steam itself has gotten not one but two new updates. The first update is rather extensive and fixes a number of bugs along with adding some new Steamworks updates. The second fixes a couple of bugs related to how Steam handles the just released Empire: Total War.
