Rumors have been circulating saying that Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion will be inferior on the Xbox 360 as opposed to the Playstation 3 version. I’m here to tell you that rumor is false and 360 owners need not worry about having an inferior game. Below are the listed specifications of the Sega Lindbergh which housed Virtua Fighter 5 R and Namco System 357 which is housing Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion.

As you can see the Namco System 357 has only a better processor and that would only be because it is newer hardware. The graphics card however is more or less the same. The Sega Lindbergh housed Virtua Fighter 5 which is a beautiful looking game and easily comparible to Tekken 6 and Virtua Fighter 5 was ported to the Xbox 360 flawlessly. The Xbox 360 is able to handle Street Fighter 4 just as well as the PS3 can which again is a testament to the fact that at the very least when it comes to fighting games the 360 versions can play just as well as the PS3 versions. I will now link to videos of Tekken 6 and Virtua Fighter 5 which both in my opinion look gorgeous but no more so than each other.
Now that you’ve seen the graphics comparisons as well as the original system specs of both games I’d like to tell you that it is a fighting game people. There’ll be an arcade mode, versus, training, online, and maybe a movie gallery, that’s not that many modes, the game will not be on 2 discs or any of that nonsense. The rumor that Tekken 6 wouldn’t be able to fit onto a single DVD was probably started by a PS3 owner for some sort of hype. The graphics processor for Tekken 6’s original version is the same for a game that was ported to 360 flawlessly the amount of features the game will have could not possibly warrant 2 discs or inferiority on one console or the other, especially since Soul Calibur 4 had way more features than I Tekken would usually have and was also a multi-platform game that looks gorgeous on both consoles. So put you fears at ease 360 fighting fans your copy of a 1 disc Tekken 6 will most definitely be the same as the PS3 owners’
